A farm girl from Iowa, armed with endless curiosity, a passion for acting,  and a self-proclaimed gypsy mentality, Jody left family and friends to strike out and find her fortune.

She has never looked back.  

 

She is an actor of stage and screen, a Broadway Producer of the Tony Award Winning musical COME FROM AWAY and David Byrne's JOAN OF ARC:  INTO THE FIRE, a Producer with Little Violet Pictures and  the host and producer of THE WINE KEY.  

Jody is a graduate of Iowa State University with a double major BFA in Interior Design and Communication with a Theater emphasis. She worked through college as an assistant scenic artist , prop-mistress and soundboard operator. This hands-on training gave Jody a unique insight to the backstage perspective of play production. Her post-graduate training was at the University of Southern California in Set Design and Scenic Art.

New York City beckoned and off she went again to attend the renowned Circle in the Square Theater School, HB Studios, The LAByrinth Master Class @ The Public Theater,  The Actors Movement Studio, Stella Adler, Weist Barron, The School of Visual Arts and classical training at the American Globe Theater Conservatory.  

 

Jody is currently attending UCLA for her MFA in Producing for TV and Film with an emphasis in creative development.
